Character

Players and NPCs drawn in 2D, often composed of sprites.

Object

Interactable or decorative elements in the game such as doors, items, and furniture.

Background

Environmental depictions like scrolling or static backgrounds. May consist of multiple layers.

Effect

Visual effects such as explosions, fire, light, magic, etc.

Animation

Animated expressions accompanying characters or effects.

Video

Full-screen animations or event scenes.

Graphic Text

Text rendered as images instead of fonts (e.g. title logos, decorative characters).

User Interface

2D elements related to user interaction such as menus, buttons, HP bars, etc.

Character

Player characters and NPCs modeled in 3D, with motion and skeletal data.

Object

3D objects such as items, buildings, and props placed in the environment.

Field Map

Terrain, dungeons, and world structures. Includes management of LOD and navmesh.

Effect

Visual effects such as particles, shaders, and lighting.

Motion

3D animations of characters or objects, including rigging and skeletal data.

Video

Cutscenes rendered in real time or pre-rendered (e.g., CG movies).

Texture

Image resources applied to models. Includes color, normal map, specular, roughness, and more.
